Dear Friends and Colleagues

On behalf of the ICDE 2008 Steering Committee, comprising the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) and the Tunneling and Underground Construction Society Singapore (TUCSS), it is my pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on Deep Excavation 2008.

The quantum leap in urbanisation calls for the need to address challenges in subterranean development in order to meet the demand for space.  The conference would focus on the design, planning and execution process, especially in heavily-urbanised areas.  Hence, the theme of the conference: Challenges and Risk Management of Underground Construction.

There would be 4 keynote lectures, delivered by prominent researchers and engineers. In conjunction, there would be a technical exhibition on the latest test equipment and technology. 

ICDE 2008 would be a great opportunity for you to share experiences and ideas with fellow engineers and researchers, learn from the experts and pick up updates on the latest industry trends and technologies.
